Hi, I’m Mariah and I live in the 21st Century France. I’m part of the less fortunate group. I’m OK with being poor. But I don’t under stand why god put us into groups? Or why he made the “rich” so air headed?
I wonder what if alot. What if my family had a little bit more money, or a better home? What if my family had reassurance there was going to be food on the table every night? Or what if god just made every one equal? I’m fine with being poor, because at least I know my family is always going to be a family and love each other. Unlike the rich, and letting money get in the way of the whole purpose of ”being a family”.
There are ups and downs about being in the poor category. Just like every “class” there is. The ups to being poor are being close to your family, knowing they will always be there for you. Having to work, But working with your family. Working all day and getting close to your other poor friends. But there is a downside. The downs are not knowing if there is going to be food on the table. Or not knowing if your going to have to bed starving again. Or get to take a shower? There’s always a what if though.
Having money wouldn’t make you a better person. It would just make you a prettier person. The rich people always have nice things. Nice things to them is a brand new car. Or a new fur coat. Nice thing to me is a decent pair of shoes or a bed other than some blankets on the floor. Rich people have it so easy.
Its not fair. But then again Life is never fair.

Hi, My name is Mariah. And i live in 19Th century France. I’m sure 19Th century France is different from the 21st century. I’m a child in the working class or better known as “the poor”. I’m 14 years old, and i don’t live a very good life. My family wares old raggedy clothes. Were always hungry. And I’m sick of being tired and tired of being sick. I think of how life would be if we were “rich”? Or if we just had a little bit more money. But I’m great full to have a home and have a bed to sleep in. And have clothes to be be dressed in clothes. Why are the rich people so blessed? They get to have nice clothes, and nice big homes. And not have to worry about weather or not there going to eat tonight. All they worry about is what party there going to tonight or who there hanging out with. They get every thing handed to them, they don’t have to work for anything. Unfortunately my family is poor. We work for everything we have, which isn’t that much. I hate not having anything. Everything i have i have to work for. Rich people get desk jobs in the air conditioning. Poor people work out side with there bare hands in blazing hot sun. Rich people get to go to fancy dinners and have fun, but they don’t under sand what its like to have nothing to eat at all. We get table scraps and have to go to bed starving, and worry about eating the next day.
If you don’t like something change it. If you cant change it change your attitude. Don’t complain — Mya Angelo.
